StreamLife wants to make a lasting difference in your life, in our community, and in the world.

Our mission is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. That’s how we’re able to make a difference, and it’s the driving force behind everything we do.

We are a group of people that meet at various times and locations during the week.  You will find friendly people who are excited to get to know you!

Your life

Wherever you are in life, you matter and you have a purpose. We want to help you become the person God has created you to be. Your journey has a next step and we’ll help you find it. It could start with serving, finding God’s vision for your life, giving, or joining us regularly.

You don’t have to take the next step alone. With a strong community of friends, you can laugh, grow, and serve with people who genuinely care about you. Find a small group to join you on your journey.

Your family

Strong families start with solid foundations. That’s why we partner with parents to help raise the next generation to become followers of Christ. Your children and teens have opportunities throughout the week to grow relationships with each other and with God.

Our community and world

We are passionate about serving the global community and demonstrating God’s love to others. Whether in person or online, individually or in groups, within our church and around the world, we are focused on supporting and engaging in relationships that provide relief and restoration to a hurting world.

We Believe

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe.
He has eternally existed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three are coequal and are one God.

Jesus is the Son of God.
He is coequal with the Father and Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to earth to reign as King.

The Holy Spirit lives in each Christian from salvation.
The Holy Spirit is coequal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He provides Christians with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer spiritual gifts when they are saved. As Christians we seek to live under His control daily.

The Bible is God's Word to us.
The Bible was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs about living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without error.

People are the supreme object of God's creation.
People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin.” Sin separates us from God and causes many problems in our life.

Salvation is God's free gift to us, but we must accept it.
We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

People will exist eternally with or without God.
People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life in Heaven. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence.

Baptism is symbolic of the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.
Once we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, baptism is a way for us to publicly declare our new life in Christ. It is also a step of obedience based on God’s commands and allows us to follow the example of Jesus, who submitted himself to baptism to “fulfill all righteousness.”

In addition to Essential Beliefs, we have liberty in Non-Essential Beliefs.

Accept the one whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters… Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master servants stand or fall… So then each of us will give an account of ourselves to God… So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.
Romans 14:1, 4, 12, 22

“I have the right to do anything,” you say–but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”–but not everything is constructive. No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.
1 Corinthians 10:23-24

Brent & Marcy Thompson
Founders/Leaders of StreamLife

Brent and Marcy have a passion to see people thrive and grow in the goodness of God and want to see people find life in Jesus Christ our Savior.  StreamLife One was founded in the Spring of 2016.  From the beginning the goal is to gather people around teaching from the Bible to transform their city, surrounding community and beyond.  With a group of great friends they started inviting people into their home to watch messages streamed from different ministries around the world.  Within six months StreamLife Experience was created.  Brent, Marcy and their team took a step of faith and rented their local movie cinema (Landmark Cinema’s Cranbrook).  Different churches from around the world were so kind to share their weekend worship experience with them to play on the big screen for the people in their city.  2019 StreamLife partnered closely with Life.Church, Brent and Marcy took the role of Community Leader under Life.Church and now lead and help oversee Life.Church LifeGroups and Leaders across Canada and United States.

Brent and Marcy take pleasure in spending time with their four children Benjamin, Jayna, Jillian and Jakin which they homeschool.  You will always find them playing on their acreage or hiking out in the mountains.
